Noah Labs Announces Late-Breaking TIM-HF3 Data: AI-based Voice Analysis Predicts Heart Failure Hospitalization Weeks in Advance 

Noah Labs Vox,™ a voice-based algorithm that detects worsening heart failure weeks before hospitalization, has received US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Breakthrough Device Designation (BDD).

Noah Labs has been selected for the European Innovation Council (EIC) Accelerator program, securing up to €11 million in funding. This recognition highlights the company’s breakthrough voice-based diagnostics for heart failure and marks an important step in advancing its AI-driven cardiovascular care platform.

Adesso Ventures, the German Heart Center Berlin Foundation, the Brandenburg Investment Bank, and Business Angels are participating in the funding round. Noah Labs' flagship software, Ark, enables AI-powered telemonitoring of heart failure patients. Additionally, Noah Labs is leading three clinical studies on the effectiveness of voice analysis as a novel biomarker for detecting heart failure.

Endowed with a €1.5 million grant from the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), the PRE-DETECT-HF project officially kicked off on 1 January, 2024. The grant will fund a ground-breaking clinical trial that aims to utilise AI-powered speech analysis for the early detection and treatment of heart failure.
